It's the breathtaking color that made name this image "Awesome", not my skills with a camera. I'm in awe of the magnificent colors in the forest this season and I can't seem to get enough of it. The air is fresh and clean, and color abounds wherever you look. I wait all year for this. I just wish it would last a little longer This one is for Les, who was the Forest Ranger for over 50 years and has now retired. He was a sweet man who loved these woods and cared for the for so many years. I will see his smiling face in these trees for years to come. Take care, Les!
