Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

I was shocked to see gulls doing this on the West Coast a decade ago!!! Isn't it amazing how other creatures have evolved so much where they get these easy ideas to open a clam!! WoW!!! And YOU were there to witness and record the event!!

Yes, I also know gulls are not as unknowing as people think. I've seen gulls drop clams and other things just to get a morsel. Good eye in seeing and capturing this!!

I love watching them. They ARE so clever!! Thank you so much for your comment. Much appreciated.

Artist's Description

This is an early morning photograph of a Herring gull dropping his clam breakfast, These birds aren't stupid...not by a long shot! They can't pry the clam's shell open so they take it to a parking lot with a hard surface, fly high into the air, then drop it. The clam shell opens and breakfast is served. This scene was capture at Swift's Neck beach in Wareham, Massachusetts, USA on a beautiful early morning in May.
